Independence Day on the river

img_9770It turns out that July 4th is one of the best days to go fishing. Apparently most people were attending Independence Day parties leaving the Green river quiet and full of hungry trout. Janet and I got out early and had a ball picking off fish with dry flies almost as fast as we could reset our tackle. We both caught good size fish but Janet had to throw back her 17 inch monster because of local regulations. Dinner was great!
