Ashley National Forest
I am camped in a very pretty meadow in the Ashley National Forest. On arrival I felt guilty driving over the little flowers dotting my meadow but I figured they will recover soon enough. The Ashley National Forest is a haven for boondocking. On my scouting mission I saw at least 20 other RV’s – mostly trailers - tucked away in their own meadows between the Aspens. The funny thing is that I have only seen a handful of trucks and that the majority of these RV’s look very quiet indeed. At 8500ft the days are in the mid 70s, the nights go down to the 40s and there are very few bugs - perfect weather.

Hey Andre, catch a few trout for me.I have 2 rods languishing in cupboards from better days. I am seriously envious!!!
