Colorado

img_7773My parents were visiting from South Africa and between shopping with my mom and fishing my dad there has been little time to update my blog. Our adventure through Colorado started when we got turned around at Pikes Peak by 80mph winds and ended with a mini disaster at Denver airport with my parents almost missing their flight home. The very scenic Colorado mountains has much to offer for anybody’s taste and I thoroughly enjoyed the last 4 weeks in the Rocky Mountain State. I am heading towards Wyoming via the Flaming Gorge and the Green River. I’ve heard there are big trout lurking in the cool green waters….

You heard right - there are big trout to be had in the Green River at the Gorge. Hope you catch some tasty fat ones!

I am right! Andre does like the fat ones. :) SpicyGoliath must be in reference to those he conguered.

Thep, with friends like you I certainly do not need any enemies. Good thing about the catch-and-release regulations for the fat ones.

I try to keep things interesting for you. I had two Lapu-Lapu’s in your honor this Saturday. It’s just not that same anymore….I was still standing after the second one. BTW, I changed my Cell number….323-518-5047. Amiey and I look forward to seeing you soon. Take care!
