South Lake and Hurd Peak
With the series of storms moving through it was tough to find a gap with good ski weather so we ended up doing a short day trip from South Lake near Bishop. The road is open all the way to the South Lake TH from where we skinned / snow shoed around the lake and up on the north face of Hurd Peak. 
Another storm was about to move in so we took what we could and made a couple of fun turns back to the truck. Later, on a drive up to McGee Creek I saw the Golden Eagle again.
