Movie Flat

img_8253I am settling into the Owens Valley – my favorite - currently camping just outside of Lone Pine in the Alabama Hills with Mt. Whitney at my doorstep. I found a nice spot between the rocks on Movie Flat which is accessible via Movie Road…mmmm. With all this talk about movies I should not have been surprised when my RV suddenly became an actor in some Wild West movie, complete with a hot blonde throwing her hair through the air while jumping off a quad bike right in front my RV. (A scene with spectacular snow covered mountains and a blonde on a red quad bike in front of the best looking satellite-internet-solar-panel-equipped RV).

That is beautiful country up there. When we drive to Lake Tahoe we always enjoy the views along the way.
So how are you holding up? Will you make it through another year of travels or are your ‘wandering days’ coming to a pause?

Cube slave in basement,

Ron

Ron, I think it would be very difficult to go from wandering back to cube.

Owens Valley, hmm, some memories there; good and not so good. Am busy making a launching dolly so that I can use the new winch that was brought into Zim (one of Greg Justus’). A bit more sophisticated than our home made one which could just crank me off the ground, this one requires a bit of running!

Andy, good to hear from you. I was thinking about your escapades here in the Owens while driving past the White Mountains the other day. Don’t discount those winches though as they can be treacherous in their own way ;)

How ’bout the sexy owner of the RV. Why aren’t you in the movie? (Extra income = always helpful:-)

Why if that isn’t sisterly love. Thanks Sus.
