Clark Lake and the Badlands

img_4783Janet came out visiting me in Anza Borrego for a couple of days. The weather was beautiful and we got to explore Clark Dry Lake and the Badlands. From where I am camped Clark Lake doesn’t look like much, but there are all sorts of interesting structures and clumps of trees scattered around the barren surface. The weird pillar looking things just had to be climbed and I was quite happy posing for my favorite jump shot. It was quite tough getting up them as the concrete is decomposing which make for fragile handholds – chausy as Janet would describe them. Yesterday we grabbed a geocache at the Badlands in the Anza Borrego State Park.
