Houston, TX

Breakfast in Dallas with Butch and Jenny on Saturday morning and then I tackled the last stretch to Gavin and Lisa in Houston. The trailer’s brakes are only half working but I hope they will be fully functional after a burn-in period. This might not happen for a couple of days as the RV is currently parked in Gavin and Lisa’s driveway. Today Gavin and I went flying with a group of local Houston pilots. Even though the sky looked spectacular overhead, it was impossible to connect during the low altitude tows (due to the zero wind conditions). Later I pulled out the ass fan and with a launch assist managed to get airborne on the 3rd attempt. Just above the max towing altitude the lift was plentyful and I climbed to base where it was nice and cool. I toured around the area for a couple hours with very little engine use. Sweeeeet.
