Neither would I and that is why I landed back at my truck after 4 hours of flying. Today was the start of the Rat Race Paragliding competition in the Applegate Valley of Southern Oregon. One had to register months in advance as this is a very popular race on the US paragliding calendar. I did not get a place but decided to do some free flying during the event which means that I have to launch either before or just after the official launch / start window. It made for super easy flying as there were more than 100 gliders in the air to mark the thermals.
