Paragliding from the Potosi Tower outside of GoodSprings I pulled off a low save and climbed out from 5.5k ft to 12.5k ft in less than 10 minutes. While messing around with my camera to take this  picture, I had a close encounter with a Southwest airlines Boeing 737 on its way to McCarran International airport. I am sure the passengers - less than 200 ft from me - are still wondering about the weird contraption outside the plane. With my heart pumping a bit faster I quickly lost some altitude on a transition across Sandy Valley. Cold beer and a great recovery crew were waiting on landing.
